This TAFE PLUS short course is designed for people who wish to operate, or assist in the operation of a canteen. This course will help address the policy of healthy foods in canteens particularly in school canteens. It will enable canteen supervisors and workers to prepare healthy food and follow the national dietary guidelines for children. It also helps to meet the national requirements for Food Safety training for people working in Hospitality and Food related areas.

Did you know that when you enrol in a TAFE NSW course, the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from your previous learning, work experience and life in general may be taken into account? This is called recognition.
You must also complete the Enrolment Adjustment Recognition (purple) form and place this on top of your completed application as a cover sheet. Please remember to keep a copy of all completed forms.
