Why not try the Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) for easy and convenient access to vocational training and education?
OTEN offers qualifications and courses to students all over NSW, from other States and Territories of Australia and overseas.
As an OTEN student, you are given the flexibility to study when and where it best suits you. However, you are responsible for managing your own learning. To succeed you will need to:
- set your goals
- keep focused on these goals
- be organised by developing a realistic study timetable around work, family and social commitments.
- use effective time management and self-motivation strategies.
OTEN offers nationally recognised training and specific programs to a range of groups such as:
TAFE PLUS courses are developed for a specific industry or community need allowing students to fast track the training they require.
Want to gain a higher qualification but can't afford the upfront tuition fees? VET FEE-HELP student loans are now available for eligible full-fee paying students in some approved high level qualifications. Go to VET FEE-HELP information if you would like to know more about this student loan scheme.
Search for courses or qualifications in your area of interest from Find a course or qualification. The Course Information Leaflet outlines what you will learn in the course, the qualification or award you will gain, prerequisites for studying and other useful information. It's important to be sure that the course is what you need to meet your personal and vocational goals.
