At the completion of this qualification, students will be able to use a range of basic spoken and written English for everyday communication in Australia.

This qualification will be of benefit to people who are non-native speakers of English and whose level of English is basic, in the range ISLPR 0+ to 1-.

This course does not require payment of the TAFE NSW fee or Concession fee. You will need to meet entry requirements and pay the OTEN Student Materials and Handling Charge.

Did you know that when you enrol in a TAFE NSW course, the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from your previous learning, work experience and life in general may be taken into account?
This is called recognition.

You must also complete the Enrolment Adjustment Recognition (purple) form and place this on top of your completed application as a cover sheet.
