At the completion of this qualification, students will be able to seek para-professional engineering technical positions equal to AQF level 6 in the electronics area of the Electrotechnology industries field or in other associated areas of electrotechnology.
Areas covered in this qualification include generic skills such as maths, science, communications, management and a range of electrical, electronics, computer and electrical power skills and knowledge.
This qualification will be of benefit to people who are planning a career path embracing electronics equipment in the Electrotechnology field or who are intending to go on to University degree level.
