17751 Electrotechnology Electrician (Certificate III )  apply to enrol
National Code UEE30807 TAFE NSW Fee $686 AUD
 

This course is for people wishing to become an Electrician. It provides national competencies to enable you to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and  equipment in building and premises. It includes national Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council requirements for an 'Electrician's licence'.

This qualification replaces 9080 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

Did you know that when you enrol in a TAFE NSW course, the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from your previous learning, work experience and life in general may be taken into account?
This is called recognition.

You must also complete the Enrolment Adjustment Recognition (purple) form and place this on top of your completed application as a cover sheet.

UEENEEE008B - Lay wiring/cabling and terminate accessories for extra-low voltage circuits
UEENEEG001B - Solve problems in electromagnetic circuits
UEENEEG002B - Solve problems in single and three phase low voltage circuits
UEENEEG003B - Install wiring and accessories for low voltage 
UEENEEG009B - Develop and connect control circuits

Elective competency standard units
UEENEEH011B - Solve probles in d.c. power supplies with single phase input
